MOVING STOCKS
If I have a risky portfolio, should I move stocks to a more conservative group?
I lost 3,000 last month and only have around 50,000 invested. Don't want to lose 3,000 a month for the next year
There are many important rules to prudent investing, but two of the most important are : Nobody ever made a dime panicking. So relax. Also----diversification is key. If you are in all high RISK STOCKS, you really should consider allocating a substantial portion to more stable companies. Maybe one oil & gas company, one tech, one retail, one healthcare stock? Do your homework and try to always own the "best of breed" in each group you choose. Good luck. It is truly a rough market out there, across the board, right now!
