Is it true that if you have a lot of food stored in your pantry, bugs will infest it if it's not used quickly?
I stockpiled a ton of rice and pasta and various food mixes because i heard prices were going to shoot up - and they actually have. The problem is, i heard that bugs will infest my food very quickly, so i will open up my box of pasta or noodles or rice, only to find nasty bugs and bug poop in there, where food used to be 
Is this true or not?
Are the bug eggs already in the boxes and they hatch, or do they come from somewhere else?
It will take me (and the bugs ) 9 months to eat all this grain and pasta !!
Store the pasta, rice and flour in the freezer in gallon ziploc baggies. there are some bug eggs that come in your product and some that narurally occur in your home. Those little tiny moths and they drill through plastic bags and unopened boxes.
