sell or hold ATVI stocks?

should I SELL STOCKS now or hold them? i bought 10k at 11.35. what do you people think?

You are past the seasonal bubble for the game business (Christmas), which is a reason to sell because the amount of revenue and earnings will be smaller for much of the remaining year.

Competitor Electronic Arts is revising down the business picture for the near term, which is still another reason to sell when the competitors see they will be suffering but not because of ATVI's book of business.

Technical indications, price below both the long and short term moving averages, so there seems to be a distinct downward trend.

The insider trading seems more a shuffling of ownership between directors and officers, but no substantial gains in positions beyond power consolidations (no particular losses either, in recent month), so they really aren't thinking bad, but really aren't thinking great about the prospects. This generally neutral situation does not tell me to get thrilled or excited over the prospects. All of the prices they paid were above the current market price, so if the stock dropped after they bought, those that did, then that doesn't look so swift to me.

In the larger economy, the US dollar seems to be rising a little, yet only because of problems with the common benchmarks to measure against it. The Euro is having trouble (Greece, Spain, Ireland), the British Pound is getting pounded and has been for quite a while. The Yen's drop makes the dollar look like a kite. There are suggestions that the price of gold and silver is being manipulated in trading or else the relatively scarcity to the overabundance of dollars, yen, pounds, and even euros would be reflected in the prices. More and more gold and silver is being acquired by banks and nations as a monetary store of value. The FDIC is essentially tapped out, the Federal Reserve's non-existant interest rate is not spurring credit or money flow. I think things are on the verge of something worse than the previous two years.

I think you ought to get out now while your losses are comfortably small. I think we are headed for a market crash and your company's prospects are not so stellar as to buck a downward trend even if the crash doesn't happen.
