Why do Goalkeepers complain when they have to make a save?
You often see a goalkeeper screaming or freaking out after they make a save, be it normal or world class. I don't understand this, I'm a goalkeeper and to me making saves is what I do so why would I be screaming at defenders? Okay, yes, to block the shot but really, if I feel the defender has done all he could or its a blistering rocket then they keeper shouldn't snap! It's only rising his stock if he makes a save, I'm never one to blast a defence if they're trying their best but I don't understand, I usually smile or I'm happy that I made a decent stop instead of blaming someone else!
Goalkeepers often get upset after they make a save because the defense made a mistake. You would scream at defenders to let them know what they did wrong. Often goalkeepers, if the defense makes no mistakes and they make a save, it isn't a problem. But if it is the defenses fault that the shot was taken goalkeepers have the right to yell at them. This is goalkeepers have to communicate and control their defense, and put them in line. And most of all it just depends on the goalkeeper's attitude. Sometimes goalkeepers are happy or angry for making a save. What you say makes sense about not blaming someone else, but defense does make mistakes sometimes, and the goalkeeper should say something about it, and usually in the game situation they will yell because it is not so relaxed.
