STOCK PHANTOM
Is the money mine, or is it "ours"?
I got married last week. My employer is being bought out (my job is 100% totally safe). I have a payment coming to me for PHANTOM STOCK. I will also be purchasing my STOCK OPTIONS in which the new company will be purchasing.
Our household expenses are split. I pay for 'X' and, she'll pay for 'Y' and it's all even in the end.
With my STOCK PAYMENTS, is the money 100% mine, or is she legally liable for 50%?

I'd figure if the stocks are in your name only the money is technically yours.Whose money is whose money and splitting comes more in if you divorce.But seeing as your are married ,I would think you would share the wealth so to speak.Of course I expect you will reinvest,correct?
