is there any store on cape cod where i can buy surgical stockings?
my friend needs 30-40 wt. surgical over the calf stockings. he ordered them online and they sent the wrong size (way too small). would appreciate any suggestions. he has veinous ulcers, which really hurt.

my friend's doctor prescribed them--30-40 wt. over the calf, and gave him an online address to order them. when they came, they were the wrong size (way too small). he is in pretty severe pain and does not like to take pain meds. it will take another week or more before he gets the right size. he needs some help now.
compression stockings are usually something a doctor orders after measuring the patient, they have to be fitted, as your friend found out trying to order them instead. Suggest he call his doctor's office for direction.
